My name is Arjuna. I am a trained goldsmith.
Goldsmithing is my craft and passion, yet I could never reconcile it with the reality of modern mining, which causes irreversible damage to natural ecosystems.

More than ten years ago, I realized that the power of the sun, focused through a lens, is intense enough to melt gold. When I finally chose to turn this insight into reality, it meant i was using the most ecological smelting process possible. Still, one fundamental issue remained unresolved: the origin of the gold itself.

With Sunsmith, I set out to change that. My vision is to collaborate with passionate gold and gemstone prospectors who source their materials exclusively from rivers and other naturally accessible places. No industrial mining. No large-scale destruction. Only deep respect for the earth and for the material it provides.
